DOCUMENTARY
During the Vietnam War, 'Gamblin' Grandma' Jessie Beck, decided to send care packages from her casino to her friend and former employee, Navy fighter pilot Richard 'Dick' Perry. She sent a few at first and then more. And more. She sent packages to Dick's squadron, the Ghost Riders, and then to his partner squadron, the Saints. Ultimately, she sent thousands of packages to troops across all of the US military branches.
Jessie made history as the first woman to own a major gambling casino in Nevada. For her friendship and generosity during the Vietnam War, she became a legend in the sky.
