Beth Ruyak to Emcee Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance Gala

Ruyak Media’s Beth Ruyak will be the emcee for the Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance Glow for the Gold Gala. This “toast to the end of summer” will be held in Davis, California on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. Enjoy beverages, bites and bike rides while helping support the Alliance’s commitment to aiding and assisting local families who are struggling through cancer diagnosis and treatment.

In addition to her role as emcee, Beth will touch on what she learned while creating the inspiring, emotional Ruyak Media documentary The Not-Dying Girl. The award-winning film, which has been airing on KVIE and dozens of PBS stations around the country, chronicles the life of Lauren McCullough, a star high school swimmer from Elk Grove, CA who was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma. Lauren spent her time spreading awareness about the cancer and completing items on her bucket list, which included marrying her high school sweetheart.
